Heidi Simpson, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides couples counseling at The Mental Wellness Center. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, and challenges related to identity and personal growth.

Through her work with individuals, Heidi developed a growing curiosity about the dynamics that shape relationships and the ways partners influence one another's healing, communication, and emotional well-being. She is building on her strong foundation in individual psychotherapy through specialized training and supervision in couples therapy, integrating principles from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples strengthen connection, improve communication, and navigate conflict with greater understanding and compassion.

Clients appreciate Heidi's warm, authentic, and thoughtful approach. She strives to create a space where both partners feel heard, respected, and understood while working collaboratively to improve communication, strengthen connection, navigate conflict, and foster healthier relationship patterns. Heidi believes lasting change begins with curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to better understand ourselves and each other.
