Stephanie Hueramo LCSW

Stephanie Hueramo

Stephanie Hueramo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. She moved to Bloomington, IL, in 2016 and believes the area is her "perfect dose of almost living a country life." She received her Masters in Social Work from Dominican University and graduated with honors. She completed her master's internship at Lutherbrook Academy, working with the youngest children, aged six to nine years old. There, she provided individual and group therapy to children with a variety of behavioral and mental health conditions.

Professional Experience

Stephanie has considerable experience working with children (aged 3years and up), adolescents, couples, and families. She has experience in child and family therapy, child welfare, corrections, and private practice.

Stephanie specializes in: Children and Adolescents, Parenting Concerns, Mood Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other Developmental Delays, Child and Adult Survivors of Abuse/Neglect and Domestic Violence, Relationship Issues, Anxiety, and Depression.

Additionally, she works with individuals experiencing personal and professional disruption due to Post Traumatic Stress, Secondary Traumatic Stress, Compassion Fatigue, Burn Out, Life Changes/Transitions, Divorce, and Grief and Loss.

Hannah Deterding-Krueger

Hannah Deterding Krueger LSW

Hannah is a Licensed Social Worker from a small town outside of Champaign. She moved to Normal in 2014 with her husband. Hannah received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in health care. She completed her internship at OSF Hospital in Bloomington. She then began working as an adolescent outreach therapist providing individual, group, and family therapy to children ages five to eighteen. Hannah returned to school and completed a Post Masters Social Work degree with a concentration in schools.

Professional Experience

Hannah has considerable experience with children, adolescents, and college-age students. She has experience working with children in a school setting, medical settings, non-profit mental health agencies, and outreach. She is passionate about working with clients who have experienced Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Emotional Disorders, Developmental Delays, and Grief and Loss.

Hannah creates a welcoming and safe environment for clients to find peace. She works in a strengths-based, client-focused approach while utilizing play therapy and art therapy methods. Hannah works on improving your mindfulness and growth in all areas of your mental, emotional, and physical health.

Jenn Bovee

Jenn Bovee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor who is originally from the Quad Cities. She moved to Central Illinois in 2007 and created The Mental Wellness Center In 2017. Jenn received her Masters in Social Work Degree from Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa and graduated with honors. She completed her master's internship at Genesis Employee Assistance Program, working with people as young as eight years old and as old as 72 years. During her time at Genesis, EAP Jenn collaborated with her clients on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, trauma, relationship issues, and communication.

Jenn has considerable experience working with adolescents and adults. Jenn has years of experience working in community substance abuse, community mental health, and private practice. Jenn specializes in treating the following issues Trauma issues, Depression, Anxiety, LGBTQIA Issues, Polyamorous relationship issues, Kink/BDSM issues, Perinatal Mood Disorder, Addiction Issues, Codependency Struggles, Communication Concerns, Self-Worth Issues, Self-Esteem Issues, Assertiveness Challenges, Motivational Concerns and Living With Chronic Illnesses and Health Concerns.

Professional Skills

Jenn creates a safe and comfortable atmosphere and environment for the clients she works with, and she normalizes the therapy process that they are engaging in. She works to collaborate with her clients to help them achieve the goals that they desire to confirm the client is always in charge of the session. Jenn’s decades of experience matched with her passion for helping people make her a phenomenal therapist.

Jenn utilizes the following approaches in therapy: client-centered, strengths-based approach cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused, family systems, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Hypnosis, Grief Recovery, and Rational Emotive Therapy.
