Grief Support Group for Parents Navigating Child Loss

A non-religious, in-person support group helping parents move through grief with compassion, community, and evidence-based care.

8-Weeks Beginning Monday, Sept 8, 2025
5:00 PM - 6:30 PM CST
In-Person at 450 N. Kays Drive, Normal, IL 61761

You Don’t Have to Grieve Alone Anymore

If you’ve lost a child to stillbirth, miscarriage, infant or toddler death—or even through abortion—you already know that this pain doesn’t fit into a five-step model.

You’ve felt the isolation. You’ve wrestled with shame. Maybe you've been offered religion when all you needed was someone to just sit with you in your grief.

This group offers a different path—one that meets you exactly where you are.

A Safe, Non-Religious Space for Healing

In a world quick to explain away your pain, this grief support group for parents does something rare—it listens.

Led by a trained clinician and rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), this 8-week, in-person group helps you:

  • Explore your grief without judgment or spiritual pressure

  • Understand and express complicated emotions like shame and guilt

  • Connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through

This is not about “fixing” you.
It’s about being with you, exactly as you are.

Grief doesn’t need to be solved—it needs to be seen. In community, with care, we begin to carry it differently.
