Alyssandra Bianco, LSW
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I work primarily with adults (18+) who are navigating the weight of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, substance use, and the sometimes disorienting process of life transitions. I also have experience supporting clients with ADHD, and I bring a deep respect for the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lived experiences my clients carry into the room. Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve a space that meets you there.
Professional Experience
Alyssandra holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and has been working in outpatient settings for the past 2.5 years, with a focused specialization in substance use and trauma. Her background includes working with individuals from a wide range of life experiences, including those navigating re-entry after incarceration, and she brings both clinical skill and genuine compassion to some of the most complex human experiences.
Professional Skills
Alyssandra is trained in EMDR and draws on a range of evidence-based approaches to support her clients' healing. Her clinical toolkit includes:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Therapeutic Approaches
Alyssandra believes healing happens in the space between being truly seen and gently challenged to grow. Her work is grounded in the understanding that the brain and body are deeply connected…and that when clients understand that connection, real change becomes possible. She integrates EMDR with a trauma-informed, holistic lens, guiding clients toward small, incremental shifts that build into lasting transformation.
Philosophy of Care
Alyssandra is drawn to working with people who feel stuck, held back by past experiences, overwhelmed by what they're carrying, or unsure of who they are on the other side of what they've been through. She believes deeply in the power of a safe space: one where clients feel validated and supported to move forward. Outside of the therapy room, Alyssa channels her own creativity through music, writing, painting, and time at the gym…reminders that healing and expression go hand in hand.
