Isabel Morales, MA
Pre-licensed LPC
I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate life's challenges while building confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to express themselves, explore their emotions, and grow at their own pace.
I believe every individual has unique strengths, and my goal is to help clients recognize those strengths while working toward meaningful and lasting change.
Professional Skills
My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, self-esteem challenges, grief, family conflict, and life transitions.
Professional Experience
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with minors in Sociology and Children's Studies, from Illinois State University before completing my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Counseling at Lewis University.
Therapeutic Approaches
My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and individualized to each client's unique needs. I primarily utilize Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and both directive and non-directive play therapy techniques while incorporating strengths-based, solution-focused, and narrative approaches when appropriate.
Philosophy of Care
I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful growth both in and outside of therapy. I also value working collaboratively with parents and caregivers, recognizing that lasting change often happens when children feel supported both in therapy and at home.
