Hello there! I'm Erin Albright, and my journey of healing and empathy has deep roots right here in Bloomington, the place where my compassionate soul took flight. Growing up in this nurturing community has shaped my outlook on life, guiding me toward a career in mental health that I'm truly passionate about.

I earned my dual Bachelor of Arts degree from Elmhurst College, nestled in the heart of Elmhurst, IL, with a focus on sociology and psychology. This unique educational blend sparked my interest in understanding the intricate connections between individuals and their communities, laying the foundation for the impactful career I have today.

For my graduate studies at the University of Illinois in Urbana, I honed in on community mental health, chasing after my dreams and furthering my commitment to making a positive impact. Since fully diving into the mental health field in 2014, I've worn various hats, evolving into a versatile and empathetic therapist.

My journey has taken me to diverse roles, including serving as a foster care therapist and offering support and healing to those in need. At Stepping Stones through the YWCA, I provided compassionate care to survivors of sexual abuse or assault. Additionally, I spent years as a crisis therapist in McLean County, offering a steady hand and a compassionate heart during times of turmoil.

Outside of the professional realm, I find solace and joy in the warmth of family, friends, and the companionship of my beloved dog. As a nature enthusiast, I cherish moments spent outdoors, reveling in the fresh air and the beauty of the world around me.

In my leisure time, you'll find me immersed in the joy of parenting, reveling in the company of my children. An avid reader and sports enthusiast, I take delight in watching football and baseball, occasionally cheering on my favorite teams at MLB and NFL games.

With a heart dedicated to healing and a spirit that finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, I bring warmth and compassion to every therapeutic encounter. My journey is not just professional; it's a heartfelt commitment to creating a positive impact in the lives I touch.
